Kristen Anne Bell is an American actor and singer born in the year 1980. The actress was born in Huntington Woods and raised there. Bell is the daughter of Lorelei Frygier and Tom Bell. The mother of Kristen is Polish and her father German, English Irish and Scottish. Kristen was already a talented performer from a young age. Her role was as Raggedy Ann in 1992 after having attended her first audition. Bell had an agent appointed by her mother prior to the age of 13 and was subsequently cast as a model for advertisements on television and newspapers. Now, Bell also begins individual acting classes. Bell played a brief, uncredited performance as a character Polish Wedding (1998) in 1998. Bell participated in the drama and music club in Shrine Catholic High School. Bell was chosen to play the lead role of Dorothy in her high school's play The Wizard of Oz. Bell went to an institution called the Tisch School of the Arts in New York City, where she studied Musical Theatre in New York City. Bell left the school in 2001 and began playing Becky the character of Tom Sawyer. In the was the same year that she also made her first credited debut in Pootie Tang (2001), however her character was deleted and her appearance exists only in the credits sequence. Bell appeared in the Broadway revival of The Crucible starring Liam Neeson and Angela Bettis.
